A Wedding Story on the Bosphorus

At a wedding for 220 guests in a waterside restaurant on the Bosphorus in Sarıyer we worked with two photographers and a video director. The couple's first dance fell at sunset and we caught the natural light just in time

Brief

The couple asked to avoid forced poses and to emphasise warm moments with elders and friends. A single storytelling approach was aimed for across the henna night and wedding day.

Shoot and production

• Two photographers + one video director
• 612 colour-corrected frames
• 90-second wedding film
• 21 working days

Result

Within 21 working days after the wedding, 612 colour-corrected frames and a 90-second wedding film were delivered. The 40 frames chosen by the couple were printed as a 30×30 cm album, and some of the photographs were published in a wedding magazine.

Client note

Throughout the project every step from brief to delivery was followed in the client panel; revision requests were completed in a single round and the files remain stored in the panel for 12 months. The lighting diagrams and colour references used in the shoot were archived for consistency in later shoots.
