Editorial: Colours of the Old City

An eight-page editorial for a fashion magazine shot in Balat's colourful streets. The harmony between location colours and garment palette was at the heart of the story

Brief

The magazine asked for a street shoot on the theme of 'city memory'. A daylight-dependent shoot was planned, with backup locations and a rain plan.

Result

The editorial was published in the magazine's November issue as eight pages including the cover; the cover photograph was nominated for a fashion award.

Client note

Throughout the project every step from brief to delivery was followed in the client panel; revision requests were completed in a single round and the files remain stored in the panel for 12 months. The lighting diagrams and colour references used in the shoot were archived for consistency in later shoots.
